Mapler Ojiji's Log: March 29th 2006

Hello there my fellow Maplers, I was just roaming around Lith Harbour today, taking in the sights and sounds of Maplers both young and old going about their day when suddenly I felt that something wasn’t right…

My earlobes felt too light…

I realized that I had lost my precious star earrings!

I asked the people around the area…

But of course, they weren’t much help. I was heartbroken and lay in the corner of the lonely stone road with tears in my eyes and hopelessness hovering above me, until…

What a gentleman!

Such a charming name, complete with such a charming face…

*MELTS*

Gosh, I’m going to meet him tomorrow morning and show him around Victoria. I’m a little nervous but generally excited. He’s such a nice person and I’d love to know more about him, he’s rather enigmatic no? *Sigh* Well, Good night my fellow Maplers. Until next time, Happy Mapling!

Much Love, Ojiji

Mapler Ojiji's Log: March 28th 2006

Remember Icarus? My on and off relationship with an NPC? Well, quite recently, Orbic Warrior went over to check up on him and this was what he found…

ARGH! That’s it, I’m never going to help Icarus build his stupid flying thingies again! He can create wax wings and fly into the sun for all I care, HMPH! Sigh…but we do come from different worlds and Nella and him have a similar sort of connection that all NPCs have. I guess I should forget about him and move on eh? :D

To get my mind off the whole matter, I decided to take a trip down to Ossyria, it was expensive getting there but a least I could explore places which I’ve never been before and discover new and exciting creatures.

When I got to the 1st floor of Ossyria tower, I realized something strange. The floor was flooded up to my waist! I went into the dark entrance and discovered a whole new underwater world which I strangely could breathe in! It startled me at first to find Pepes with scuba masks over their heads swimming around me…

I slowly traveled deeper and deeper into the great underwater unknown and discovered some mighty interesting plants and creatures…

Some were shy…

And some were just screaming out for attention…

I went “on board” the gigantic whale and met Nanuke and his pet huskies. It was really cold up there but I thoroughly enjoyed the cooling breeze and the soft yapping coming from Nanuke’s huskies. Nanuke invited me into the igloo for a spot of tea, we talked about Dogs and about how he ended up living on this whale with earmuffs…

After awhile, I bid Nanuke and his huskies farewell and went on deeper through Aqua Road

I spotted a sign which was pointing toward an underwater town, I flagged down a taxi turtle and he took me there…

When inside, I went in to visit the local zoo which housed a few exotic animals…

Balrog was there too! I decided to give our dancing session another go…

Ah Success!!!

Once I replenished my healing pots and lemons, I left the Aquatic town and discovered many more odd creatures which swam around freely and sometimes even dropped floats for us maplers to collect.

I came across a strange looking fish with panda-like eyes and a rather fleshy appearance, it looked harmless but kept attacking me, damage was pretty high!

One thing about underwater creatures? They’re fast! Especially these shrimps, they not only have a bad and moody attitude but hop around real quick, causing a lot of damage on my body.

My strength was seriously decreasing with all these underwater monsters fleeting around me so, I decided to take a rest on another whale but this time a tropical whale!

Robinson lived on this Whale and apparently has been stranded there for some time now. I don’t know why he has never tried swimming out like us maplers do but oh well, NPCs have a different way of doing things :P

While on the tropical whale, I met a mapler called KaoBeiiSin. We decided to go exploring together…

Oh dear, this seahorse must have drank in too much chlorine or something…

When we came to the last map, KaoBeiiSin and I spotted a boat upon the surface. We went on board and met an old man called Tae Gong, he told us many tales of the sea and how Aqua Road came to be.

After our little chat with Tae Gong, we left his beautiful boat and decided to train up. Guess what? I’ve leveled up!

Well that’s all for today, until next time, Happy Mapling!

Mapler Ojiji's Log: March 13th 2006

Today was a fruitful day of travel that Burredo and I had, creatures were defeated, experience points were earned but most importantly, screenshots were taken! ONWARD!

We started our journey within Ossyria, where clouds floated above and below feet, odd creatures were abundant and much fun lay ahead…

Look at the poor star pixie! It’s crying! Burredo is enjoying the hunt though, look at his sadistic face…

You won’t see Burredo smiling here, the flower just spat on him! It kind of reminds me of some moldy black berry chewing gum residue…ew…

It seems a lot of the creatures in cloud park have a very cute and innocent disposition…

Hmm…I take that back… Devilish no?

After much exploration around cloud park, Burredo and I headed toward the Ossyria Tower, twenty floors of sentinels and jr pepes, I decided to have some fun and race him…

We stopped for a rest in the dark and dingy abode of Huckle, he’s probably going senile…

Anyway, the race ended soon after and guess what…BURREDO WON!

Enter our new friend! Greetings in Maple are very detailed and tedious sessions…

Together with our latest acquaintance, we headed toward the icy regions of El Nath where creatures of snow and slush roamed freely…

Apparently, these Jr. Yetis aren’t very good with direction, constantly getting lost and confused!

The Pepes have gone mad, so have I!

One word, NICE.

I caught a Jr. Yeti transforming into a full grown Yeti, run Burredo!

Right after we went pass these icy regions, we came across an area which only level 50 and above Maplers were allowed to enter. I bowed to the fact that I would not be able to enter that area for a while but Burredo had another idea. With his help, we could perform a special spell whereby my soul will be transferred to the body of another fellow mapler with a level of more than 50. The catch however was that I had to get used to my new body and this would take awhile but I would get a hang of it sooner or later. So, the spell was made, magic words were said and poof!

Wheee!!! My new name is Ambrose! Aren’t I cool?

Now, that’s what I call a pack of wolves!

Burredo is so Hero! Single-handedly taking down the were wolves with mighty swings of the sword! All I did was hang out…

We were getting deeper and deeper into the danger regions…

Nice answer Burredo!

Yowzaaa! We’re on fire!!!

And finally, our journey ends with a un-enterable portal. Why there were pots in a Lava underground, I have no idea! All in all it was really fun being a boy for one day, I even got to use level 70 thief skills like dark sight, haste and lucky seven! Even though I did have loads of fun, I really missed my original body. Being Ojiji again felt great!

Much Love, Ojiji
