Mapler Ojiji's Log: October 31st 2005

During my travels around Maple, Victoria and Ossyria, I recently discovered this device, a contraption if you may that people outside of Maple call a "Blog". I decided that this be a magnificient opportuinity for me to record my travels and update fellow Maplers of the numerous journeys and stories that I've encountered.

First of all, just a little introduction of myself:

My Mother named me Ojiji, I was born into a family of Artisan Magicians who practiced Magic in the aesthetics. Simply put, they made things look pretty. I however, chose a different path and ventured into the world of swords, shields and spears. Perion is now my hometown but I do occasionally visit Ellinia from time to time.

I recently completed my second job advancement and have successfully become a Spearman or spearwoman if you may. Here I am in Dances with Balrog’s abode scrutinizing his lack of creativity in interior décor…

And because I finally reached level 30 after a long and grueling 2 months of training, Master Friday and I decided to make our way to Ossyria for a quick exploration session. The ticket to Ossyria costs a whopping 80K! And the return ticket another 20K, now THAT’s expensive transportation! Here are some pictures taken of Master Friday and I enjoying ourselves on the ship to Ossyria…

And a little bit of laughter…

And of course, a little bit of DRAMA…

Finally, after a long long long five minute ride, we arrived at Beautiful, Mystical, Breath-taking Ossyria!

Alright, it wasn’t much of a looker at first but then as we exited the station, the clouds and buildings and the complete lack of people overwhelmed me.

Friday and I then made our way to Orbis tower and began the tedious task of traveling through twenty stories of Sentinels, Jr Leattys and Pepes. We even met a fumbly little witch called Barn who sold 100% scrolls, but I wonder if they truly are effective because they kept blowing up in her face every few seconds…

Speaking of interesting people, there was a odd old man named Huckle who has been trapped in a dark hole at the Orbis tower for thirty years and hasn’t been able to get out. He apparently has been studying moving stones or something along that line and asked us to get him a few samples of sentinel shells for his research, in return he gave us some teleporting scrolls. Huckle sure is odd and definitely a man of few words, very few…

Our trip down Orbis tower led us to Slippery ol El Nath. A lovely place filled with snow, slush and abit of cuddling…

*ah hem*

Anyway, moving on…after much exploration and various other activities, we finally made our way back to good ol Victoria island. The trip back was another long long long five minutes and the enjoyment of the wind in our hair and more exp points in the little yellow box at the corner…

Truly enjoyed myself in Ossyria today and will hope to visit it again in the near future.

Much Love, Ojiji
